Debian/Ubuntu install

  1. Become root

    sudo -i

  2. Install application

    apt install ca-certificates

  3. Download certificates

    wget --no-check-certificate -O /usr/share/ca-certificates/umvirt/

    wget --no-check-certificate -O /usr/share/ca-certificates/umvirt/

  4. Select & activate certificates

    dpkg-reconfigure ca-certificates

Red Hat/CentOS install

  1. Become root


  2. Install application

    yum install -y ca-certificates

  3. Download certificates

    wget --no-check-certificate -O /usr/share/pki/ca-trust-source/anchors/

    wget --no-check-certificate -O /usr/share/pki/ca-trust-source/anchors/

  4. Activate certificates

    update-ca-trust force-enable

    update-ca-trust extract

Certificate revocation lists (CRL)

Certificates like records in blockchain can't be deleted they are marked as revoked in revocation lists.

We issue two types of certificates:

  1. Regular Certificate - Protects only one domain. For example, regular certificate applied to domain can protect only domain.
  2. SAN Certificate - Protects defined list of domains. For example, SAN certificate applied to domain can protect two domains: and
  3. Wildcard Certificate - Protects domain and all it subdomains. For example, wildcard certificate applied to domain can protect domain and all subdomains like,, and so on.
